HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman chairs meeting of the REHC High Committee

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, yesterday remotely chaired a meeting of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman extended gratitude to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their continued support of equestrian sport in the Kingdom, which has developed enhanced Bahrain’s position in hosting and organising equestrian events.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman noted the importance of implementing strategies and programs to further enhance equestrian sports within the Kingdom and also attracting regional and international recognition.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman reviewed topics on the meeting’s agenda, involving mechanisms and programs to further develop REHC’s activities, as well as using the latest technology in its bloodstock programmes.

The meeting further provided an opportunity to explore a number of proposals regarding the organization of international equestrian championships in the coming year and international participation regulations, in particular given the success of the first two editions of the Bahrain International Trophy.

After further review, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman approved the REHC’s master plan, related to future development projects.
