Citizens and residents of Bahrain should follow the mandatory COVID-19 precautionary measures for an additional three months from 28 February 2021.
The Ministry of Health announced the decision following the Government Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The move also follows the recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is mandatory to follow health and social distancing measures at commercial and industrial premises, along with other previously outlined measures.
The extension is also valid for the suspension of service fees for foreigners at health centres and general medical consultations for non-Bahrainis.
