Filipino Creatives Bahrain receives certificate of recognition from Philippine Embassy

The art group Filipino Creatives Bahrain received a certificate of recognition from the Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Philippine Ambassador Alfonso Ver and Cultural Centre head JieMarie Mortel-Ladrica awarded the certificate to the group.
At the same time, the newly elected officers of the group for the year 2021 had their oath-taking in the presence of Ambassador Ver and Mortel-Ladrica.
Present on the occasion were founding members Catherine Paje and Newlife Sarah Mac arambon who received the certificate of recognition and showed support to the incoming officers.
Filipino Creatives Bahrain is the first and only Filipino art group accredited by the Philippine Embassy Cultural Office. It has exhibited its works in Bahrain since its formation in 2018, including some of the biggest art exhibitions
in the Kingdom like “Bahrain Through Our Eyes” , “Ma Art’e” and “Crosscurrent: A Fusion of Art and Culture.”
For this year, the group plans to hold an all-Filipino visual arts exhibition in celebration of the Philippine Independence Day in June and another big visual arts exhibition together with international artists at the Bahrain Art Center later this year.

Salazar (treasurer), Karlo Angelo V. Papa (Auditor), Rudy D. Perey (Sgt. at Arms), Rodrigo C. Masaque (Sgt. at Arms), Emmanuel Joseph M. Reyes (P.R.O.) and Kieran B. Calvelo (P.R.O).
