Bahrain to mark Traffic Week 2021

Director-General of Traffic Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa said that Traffic Week 2021 comes this year amid global health challenges.
He described the current situation as an incentive to step up traffic efforts paying tribute to Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
“He said that the directorate had achieved positive outcomes in e-services, awareness and partnership with the public”, he said.
He pointed out media campaigns that were launched over the past 30 years to mark the occasion and promote traffic awareness.
In a statement on this occasion, he said that demand for e-services increased by 43%, adding that 2 million applications in 2020 were processed last year.
