Plan to reallocate real estate in Salman Town according to public needs

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf said that the ministry is currently studying the reallocation and registration of government real estate in Salman Town in coordination with Housing Ministry in the islands No. 11, 12, 13 and 14, according to the town’s public service needs.
The minister said that the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA) has studied the detailed plan for these islands and prepared tables for the use of lands, their areas and the nature to use in each.
He addressed the Housing Ministry for the purpose of studying and approving the preparation to complete the procedures that will be followed by the Finance and National Economy Ministry’s approval and raised to the Deputy Prime Minister, noting that the procedures for re-allocating government real estate are expected to be completed by the second half of 2021.
