Bahrain, Serbia sign MoU to establish embassies

The foreign ministries of Bahrain and Serbia yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultation yesterday. The deal follows a meeting by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani with the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Branislav Nedimovic.
The deal also follows His Majesty the King issuing an order to establish an Embassy of Bahrain to the Republic of Serbia and the President of Serbia authorising to establish a Serbian Embassy in Bahrain.
Present during the meeting were Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, Director of the European Affairs and European Union Directorate at the Ministry, Ambassador Shaikha Aysha Ahmed Saqer Al Khalifa, and the Ambassador of Bahrain to Serbia, residing in Moscow, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati and Head of the Department for Africa and the Middle East, Ambassador Miroslav Sestovic.
