Supreme Council of Health head visits new vaccination centre at Sitra Mall

Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Head of the National Medical Team for Responding to Coronavirus (COVID-19), made an inspection field visit yesterday morning to the New Vaccination Centre at the Sitra Mall.
Dr Muhammad bin Abdullah affirmed that the national vaccination campaign is proceeding according to plan and in accordance with the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as it provides free and safe vaccines for all citizens and residents.
Vaccination at the Sitra Mall is a continuation of the efforts made to provide vaccination in various medical centres as part of the national vaccination efforts of the Bahrain team led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr Muhammad bin Abdullah reviewed the existing equipment, pointing out that the new centre will make it easier for citizens and residents to receive the vaccination.
During his visit, he was welcomed by a number of the national medical team members and those in charge of the national vaccination campaign.
Dr Muhammad bin Abdullah praised the continuous efforts of the national medical team and all support teams to preserve the health and safety of all citizens and residents.
He stressed the importance of continuing to exchange experiences and keeping abreast with all developments regarding measures and efforts made to eradicate the coronavirus.
The Kingdom continues its great efforts to limit the spread of the virus by strengthening the implementation of all precautionary and preventive measures.
Dr Muhammad bin Abdullah called on everyone to take the initiative to register in the national vaccination campaign to contribute to the efforts aimed at protecting society from the pandemic.
