Bahrain Shura Council launches new accurate, effective voting system

Secretary-General of the Shura Council, Osama Ahmed Al-Asfoor, has announced the launch of an advanced voting system to be used by Shura members during the regular meeting, noting that the system has moved its effectiveness and success.
He indicated that the Shura Council’s Secretariat-General is keen to develop the systems and procedures that support Shura members, in line with the directives of the Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, to provide all kinds of support to members.
The Secretary-General pointed out that the new voting system is accurate, efficient and fast, and is identical to the previously applied voting system when the sessions were held in-person before the spread of the Coronavirus, indicating that it is available on tablets (iPads) as well as smartphones.
