Man jailed for attacking two doctors at Salmaniya Medical Complex

A man accused of attacking two doctors at the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) has been sentenced to one month behind bars.
The defendant attacked the doctors two weeks ago, as a result of which he was held in detention before being sent for a trial before the Lower Criminal Court.
According to the Public Prosecution, the accused went to the SMC emergency department to receive treatment but refused to undergo the required diagnosis procedures, went to the doctors, yelled and threatened them, attacked and insulted them, as well as a police officer who was there at the hospital.
