King, Premier hold meeting

The requirements regarding development in various fields and ways to consolidate them through joint government-parliament cooperation were reviewed in a meeting held between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

During the meeting, HM King Hamad said that national action and development projects would continue in all sectors that serve the homeland and the citizens.

A number of domestic issues aiming to enhance the national action march, boost the national economy and achieve the goals of comprehensive development were also discussed. HM King Hamad lauded the dedication of the Bahraini citizens in serving their nation and keenness to upgrade its status in various fields.

HM the King expressed appreciation to HRH Premier and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for their tireless efforts to follow-up the implementation of government programmes and keenness to improve the quality of services in all sectors. HM the King also thanked all members of the cabinet for their dedication.

The latest regional and global developments, the importance of enhancing solidarity amid the serious security and economic challenges currently facing the region were also broached.

HRH Premier said that during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era, the kingdom had attained innumerable achievements of which everyone had to be proud.
