Bahrain to participate in GCC meet

The President of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed will head the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the fourteenth meeting of the Ministers and Presidents of civil service and administrative development of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to be held today in Qatar.

Al Zayed said that CSB at the Kingdom is proposing to include an item on the consolidation of purchases and licenses of HR systems among the GCC countries.

The twenty first preparatory meeting of civil service and HR undersecretary committee was held yesterday with the Bureau delegation headed by director general of policies and wages Adel Hajji Ibrahim Mohamed. During the meeting, the topics on the agenda was reviewed and the Secretariat’s memorandum on the workshop as well as CSB’s experience in the field of infrastructure development in the civil service which was hosted by the kingdom in the month of December 2014 were discussed.

The meeting also discussed the memorandum of the Secretariat on the problems and challenges faced by the civil service, as well as the Supreme Council decisions in the field of human resources civil service and the efforts of Member States, and it’s implementation.
