The Lower Criminal Court acquitted a 56-year-old Bahraini woman of violating the transportation law after she was caught transporting school students without the required licence.
The court cleared the accused due to a lack of moral evidence as she unconsciously violated the rules.
The defendant is said to have been employed by a local transportation company to transport students on a part-time basis.
But the firm failed to register her at the General Organisation of Social Insurance, a violation of the local transportation laws which stipulate companies to insure their employees.
