Sustainable Energy Authority and National Space Science Authority are joining hands to find more space to grow their potentials, more efficiently. Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, the President of SEA and Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, the Chief Executive Officer of NSSA, signed the memorandum of understanding to cooperate in space science and renewable energy.
The deal calls for sharing experiences and conducting courses and workshops in space science and sustainable energy, and provide technical support for the projects SEA supervises.
Dr Mirza said that this MoU falls in line with the directives of His Majesty the King to enhance cooperation with ministries and government agencies in a way that serves the Kingdom and contributes to its progress and prosperity.
“The NSSA aims, with this memorandum, to play an active part in serving national needs by providing space data for the comprehensive development of the Kingdom, particularly to promote access to clean, renewable energy that meets national aspirations,” Dr Al Aseeri said.
