HM the King patronises Duty Force One ceremony

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, yesterday patronised a special ceremony that was held to honour members of Duty Force One of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), who successfully completed their tasks, by participating within the Joint Arab Coalition and alongside the Yemeni National Army and the Popular Resistance forces in the liberation of Marib and taking full control of the Bab Al Mandab Strait for the sake of restoring international navigation and supporting brotherly Yemen's security and progress.

The ceremony was attended by BDF Chief Field-Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Guard Commander HH Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander HH Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa appreciated the Royal instructions of HM the King, who directed both HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid to lead Duty Force One in the frontlines in Yemen.

HH Shaikh Nasser confirmed in his speech that Special Duty Force Two is preparing to leave the Kingdom and join the forces of the coalition in the battlefield.

He also noted to the five martyred Bahraini soldiers and the 32 injured ones, who were honoured for their bravery by HM the King yesterday.

HM the King presented HH Shaikh Nasser with the first degree of Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Decoration as an appreciation of his efforts to improve the Royal Guards, bravery in the battlefield while commanding Duty Force One, personally supervising the humanitarian consignments sent by Bahrain to aid the people of Yemen and his countless contributions to serve the nation.

HH Shaikh Khalid was presented the Military Bravery Decoration by HM the King for his exceptional stances during the attack against the coalition forces in Marib and his role in rescuing many soldiers of the coalition forces in the attack.

HM the King also presented medals of honour and decoration to the soldiers of the force, appreciating their bravery and efficiency.
