The Lost Paradise of Dilmun reopens

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun, Bahrain’s biggest waterpark, announced yesterday that it will reopen its doors effective from the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2021, from 10 am to 10 pm daily.
The waterpark will host DJs and performers to celebrate the three days of Eid Al Fitr, in addition to organising a variety of family-friendly activities that will be announced on the waterpark’s social media accounts before the opening.
In preparation for the reopening, The Lost Paradise of Dilmun has announced a newly designed Beach concept to replace its previous Wave Pool, a new Virtual Reality experience for gaming fanatics “VR World” and many new exciting changes for families.
Following the directives issued by the Kingdom’s Covid-19 Task Force, The Lost Paradise of Dilmun said it has taken all precautionary measures and applied health and safety protocols approved by the Ministry of Health, in addition to ensuring social distancing throughout the park, for the health and safety of park visitors.
The waterpark was also awarded the Safeguard Label by Bureau Veritas for implementing policies and procedures aligned with local regulatory requirements for good hygiene and health and safety practices.
Chief Executive Officer, Dr Essa Faqeeh, said “We remain diligent in our pursuit of safety and security first and foremost for all of our guests. That said we have also taken great strides during our closure in preparing new and exciting experiences to reward our guests upon our return.”
All vaccinated visitors presenting the green shield on their Be Aware app and those recovered from Covid-19 will be permitted to enter the water park and enjoy all facilities.
Tickets are currently being sold at a 15% discount on the waterpark’s online ticketing page. The Lost Paradise of Dilmun is located at Al Areen Development in the Southern Governorate and includes a variety of outdoor water activities in addition to indoor and outdoor entertainment and various food outlets for visitors to enjoy.
The waterpark has won several international awards over the years including, being one of the largest water parks in the region.
