Ashura holidays declared in Bahrain
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister issued a circular regarding the official holidays on Ashura anniversary for the year 1437H.
The circular stipulated that the Kingdom's ministries, directorates, authorities and public institutions will take a two-day holiday on Ashura anniversary which occurs this year on the weekend (Friday and Saturday) and therefore shall be offset with another two days (Sunday and Monday, 25 and 26 October).
His Royal Highness directed the early defrayal of October salaries and wages on Thursday, October 22, and the relevant bodies have been instructed to take the necessary actions for this purpose.
