Bahrain's VKL Group donates oxygen facility worth Rs 7.5 million to India

The VKL Group in Bahrain has come to the forefront to help India overcome its current Covid-19 crisis. The VKL Group, led by Pravasi Bharatiya Samman winner and prominent Bahrain-based businessman Dr Varghese Kurian, has purchased Rs7.5 million (BD38,500)worth of oxygen cylinders and accessories from Cryogas Equipment Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Baroda, Gujarat.
This is part of VKL Group’s several humanitarian and charity activities done in India and Bahrain especially during the pandemic. The VKL Group was also the first to set up a quarantine facility for Covid-19 victims in Bahrain. The VKL group has also been donating to several expatriates who were finding it difficult to return home during these trying times.
Action has been initiated to assure that the Oxygen supplies reach the needy, affirmed Mr Kurian, VKL Group Chairman and Managing Director.
