Royal leadership hailed on Everest team success

Congratulatory messages poured in yesterday for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the Bahrain Royal Guard team’s success in reaching the summit of Mount Everest on Tuesday morning.
Royal Family members and senior government officials said that the distinguished accomplishment reflects HM the King’s constant interest in the Bahrain Everest team and HRH Prince Salman’s close follow-up on them throughout the ascent journey which resulted in hoisting the Bahrain flag on the peak of the highest mountain summit in the world and protecting the kingdom’s message in support of global peace.
They also congratulated the National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council and Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Royal Guard team members for their great accomplishment, wishing them further success.
