500 more beds on the way for Bahrain Covid-19 patients

Plans are progressing to add 500 more beds to Corona virus care wings in the Kingdom. A source confirmed this new development citing Lieutenant General Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, and the National Medical Team to Address Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The parliamentary source also told AlAyam that the MPs and Shura Council members are meeting to discuss the approval of vaccines and procedures based on a GCC wide decision.

The source also said that plans are also progressing fast to increase the participation of private sector establishments to address the Coronavirus pandemic in the coming period.

The AlAyam report also said that Bahrain is preparing to increase frontline workers, bringing in new drugs and medical supplies.

The report, quoting the unnamed source, also quoted Shaikh Muhammad as confirming that the Sinopharm vaccine is internationally approved.
