Monitoring level of Bahrain health services

Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, has made an inspection visit to the Salmaniya Medical Complex and a number of isolation and treatment centres.
This was within the framework of his keenness to monitor the level of health services provided to citizens and residents in light of the noticeable increase in the number of existing cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
At the beginning of the visit, Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the continuous support and wise guidance from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for all the efforts made to enhance the health and safety of all.
Shaikh Mohammed praised the exceptional efforts exerted by all employees of the health sector, expressing pride in the honorable positions of the medical staff who placed themselves at the forefront of the ranks in the service of the nation and its people, especially during the pandemic.
His visit included the Salmaniya Medical Complex (emergency department) and the “My Health” building, as well as a number of complex facilities, to check on the progress of providing health services and to see the latest developments in treating patients in general and the existing cases of coronavirus in particular.
He also visited the Bahrain International Hospital and Aali Comprehensive Center, which is designated for treating existing cases of coronavirus, in the presence of a number of members of the national medical team.
Shaikh Mohammed said that the Kingdom of Bahrain has established an integrated series of precautionary quarantine centres and isolation as well as treatment centres, designated to receive existing cases, contacts and suspected cases of infection with the virus as part of the national vaccination campaign.
He reiterated his call for everyone to fully adhere to regulatory decisions and apply all the precautionary measures recommended by the national medical team to address the coronavirus.
