Philippine Embassy in Bahrain mourns death of long-serving officer

With deep sadness, the Philippine Embassy has announced the death of its long-serving officer, Nabiyyil Jamjilani D. Yusup, on Monday. Yusup served as the Embassy’s interpreter-translator and liaison officer for almost 10 years.
His dedicated service and consistently effective performance of his duties contributed immensely to the achievement of the Embassy’s mission to provide efficient and timely service to the public.
His proficiency in the Arabic language and his professional yet friendly demeanour also helped build stronger relations between the Embassy and Bahrain’s government agencies, contributing greatly to the Embassy’s ability to advance Philippine-Bahrain relations.
Moreover, his passion to share the teachings of Islam enabled many to have a deeper understanding of his faith. The Filipino Community would like to extend its sincere condolences to the family of Yusup.
