HM the King invited to Arab, American summit
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a written message from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia inviting him to attend the fourth Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) to be held in Riyadh in November.
Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh handed over the letter to HM the King in a meeting at Al-Sakhir Palace yesterday.
HM King Hamad appreciated King Salman for the invitation and expressed pride in the solid long-standing ties bonding the two kingdoms and their people. He also praised the steady progress of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
HM the King lauded the leading role played by Saudi Arabia, under King Salman’s leadership, in serving Arab and Islamic issues, bringing countries together and defending right and justice all over the world.
