NIHR hails Bahrain efforts in confronting coronavirus

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has confirmed that the vaccination plan in Bahrain is implemented accurately and professionally in line with international human rights standards.

The institution said that it has been following up with the national campaign for vaccination against COVID-19 in providing all types of vaccinations to all citizens and residents, especially people suffering from chronic diseases, the elderly and people with disabilities.

NIHR expressed its satisfaction with the health and safety measures followed in the Kingdom, providing various types of vaccinations and facilitating the selection for everyone based on a comprehensive and thoughtful plan to protect and grant the highest levels of immunity to the entire community and to contribute to preventing the transmission of the virus and mitigating its spread.

The institution called on everyone to take the vaccine as soon as possible or the booster dose for vaccinated people according to the instructions issued by the National Medical Team, stressing the importance of adhering to the guidelines as everyone’s responsibility.
