Shaikh Khalid receives Indian delegation
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa yesterday received a group of spiritual activists from India, currently visiting the Kingdom.
The Minister welcomed the delegation, saying that the Kingdom of Bahrain presents a unique and worth emulating models of coexistence whereby all faiths, affiliations and sects, live in harmony.
He said that Bahrain would always remain supportive of all the efforts aimed at reinforcing the concept of peaceful coexistence and cooperation, which were the major factors behind stability and people’s ability to overcome challenges.
The Indian delegation members lauded the prevailing peaceful coexistence in the Kingdom, which has become a catalyst for its development and sound reputation among the world nations.
They praised the efforts it exerts in support of the earnest peaceful coexistence efforts on its soil, as manifested in the peaceful living of locals and residents, something that further promotes this trend on the regional and global levels.
