Vehicle technical inspection in Muharraq
A branch of the General Directorate of Traffic, concerning Vehicles Technical Examination Department will be opened in Muharraq.
The newly formed Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security parliamentary committee announced this during the committee’s first weekly meeting in the second session of the fourth legislative term.
Committee Chairman Abdulla Binhuwail said “committee members agreed to a proposal to establish vehicles’ technical inspection office of the General Directorate of Traffic in Muharraq Governorate.”
The proposal which was submitted by MP Abdulrahman Buali in February seeks reducing pressure on the department at the directorate’s headquarters in Isa Town and to improve and facilitate traffic services that are provided to citizens and residents in Bahrain.
