Growing Bahrain-Japan ties hailed

Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal has praised the relations between Bahrain and Japan and its continuous development at all levels. She attributed the growing bilateral ties to the constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Emperor Naruhito of Japan.
This came as Speaker Zainal received yesterday newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki in the presence of Deputy Abdul Nabi Salman, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. She wished the Ambassador success in performing his diplomatic duties in the Kingdom.
The Speaker affirmed the Representatives’ Council’s keenness to enhance cooperation, especially those related to the parliament. Zainal noted the parliament’s interest in opening up to a higher level of joint work with the legislative institution in Japan, with coordination and exchange of experiences, and intensifying meetings, to achieve mutual interests and support joint projects in all fields, especially economic, investment and technological.
The Ambassador stressed his pride in representing his country in the Kingdom, noting the growing bilateral relations, and affirming his aspiration for further growth and progress in these relations.
