Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa has lauded the distinguished long-standing solid Bahrain-India relations and their steady progress, particularly at the political, economic, educational and cultural levels. Dr Shaikha Rana – also Deputy Chairperson of HEC Board of Trustees – received yesterday Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava.
She underlined HEC’s keenness to develop educational and research cooperation with India to support the educational process and serve efforts to achieve sustainable development in the two countries.
They also discussed higher education topics of mutual interest. Ambassador Srivastava expressed pride in the meeting and appreciated the efforts and role of the HEC to improve higher education and provide all success requirements for it, wishing Dr Shaikha Rana every success.
