Bahrain condemns deadly terrorist attack in Somalia

Bahrain condemned the terrorist attack that took place near a bus station in Mogadishu, Somalia, resulting in several deaths and injuries.

Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and the Somali government and people, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured as a result of this cowardly terrorist attack which contradicts all moral and humanitarian values and principles.

The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Somalia in all the measures it takes to combat extremist terrorist organisations and maintain security and stability, reiterating Bahrain’s position in rejecting all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.

The Kingdon also condemned the armed attack on the town of Sulhan in northern Burkina Faso, which resulted in the death of hundreds of civilians and injured others.

Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and the government of Burkina Faso, wishing the injured ones a speedy recovery.

The Ministry stressed the firm position of Bahrain that rejects terrorism, extremism and violence, and calls for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
