Works Ministry widening Janabiya Highway

The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning has announced plans to widen the Janabiya Highway into a dual 3-lane carriageway road. The project, funded by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, will see the highway getting a modern overhaul in 90 weeks.
The project calls for earthworks, asphalt pavement, safety fencing, road marking & signing, storm drainage, landscaping or any other related works. A tender issued last week closes on 1 August 2021.
