New petrol station for Hamad Town

Plans are progressing to construct a new petrol station at Hamad Town Roundabout 14, it has emerged. The service station will have a drive-through quick service restaurant, coffee shop, commercial shops, car care and wash, sales offices and other facilities.
The project, owned by Bapco, is up for bidding, says a Tender board document.
Successful contractors will have to finish the project in seven months. The tender, calling for an initial bond for BD4,000, closes on the fourth of next month.
Seven-year fleet contract
Separately, Bapco said it is looking forward to outsourcing its local marketing fleet operation for seven years. The contract is for transporting Mummtaz, Jayyid, kerosene and diesel or any other petroleum products from Sitra Marketing Terminal or any other locations to various services stations and customer locations in the Kingdom. Those interested should make their bids before 11 July 2021.
Swimming pool cleaning
Bapco said it is also hiring a contractor to repair and maintain its swimming pools. The company is offering a contract for five years. The scope of the work comprises complete cleaning, operation and maintenance services of the Bapco club swimming pool, civic centre swimming pool and water features of Princess Sabeeka Park at Awali.If interested, make sure to place bids before 7 July 2021.
Drycleaning services for Awali hospital
Yet another tender by Bapco said the company is willing to offer a three-year contract for drycleaning and laundry services for Awali Hospital and Refinery clinic.
Those interested should approach Bapco through the tender board. Bids should reach the tender board before 7 July 2021.
