Police arrest four with tobacco products worth BD33,000

Capital police yesterday arrested four men for allegedly selling banned tobacco products in the governorate. Cops also retrieved several kilogrammes of banned substance valuing around BD33,000 from the suspects.
The arrest followed a tip-off received by the police on Asian nationals selling banned substance in the governorate. Police quickly opened an investigation resulting in the identification of the suspects.
A search resulted in retrieving BD33,000 worth of tobacco products banned for use in the Kingdom. Public Prosecution is taking necessary legal actions.
