Bahrain International Circuit has announced plans to do away with its current Building Management system and bring in a more advanced setup.
A computer-controlled BMS system found commonly in large projects with extensive mechanical and electrical systems controls and monitors ventilation, lighting, power, fire, and security systems. BIC said it is looking forward to hiring a BMS specialist to study its existing system and design a new state of the art BMS meeting its specific requirements.
Reports say the average cost to deploy a primary BMS is at least $2.50 per square foot and can be as high as $7.00 per square foot.
A tender launched by BIC says those interested should make their bids before the 28th of next month. The initial bond required is BD2,500.
