Bahrain police arrest four women in illegal massage parlour raid

Capital police yesterday arrested four women for running an illegal massage centre in violation of coronavirus (COVID-19) preventing measures.
The suspects of Asian and African nationalities were taken into custody in a joint operation by the Capital Governorate Police Directorate, Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry.
The arrest followed a tipoff received on the illegal activities practised by the suspects. An investigation was quickly opened, which resulted in the identification and arrest of the suspects.
Officers found the suspects were practising various massage services flouting all coronavirus restrictions. The case is now with the Public Prosecution.
Salon closed Separately, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism announced closing a men’s salon in the northern governorate for violating COVID-19 restrictions.
During an inspection, officers spotted several customers inside the salon flouting social distancing and other mandatory restrictions.
