New mosques in Riffa, Muharraq

The Supreme Council of Islamic affairs had announced plans to construct two mosques, one in East Riffa and another in Muharraq. The Council said plans are ongoing to construct the mosque in East Riffa in 2 years, for which it has opened a tender to award the contract. The tender calls for consultancy services, design and supervision of the project, following which the municipality there will issue a building permit.
Interested parties should make their bids before the fourth of next month through the Tender Board. The Supreme Council is also hiring consultancy services for Halat Al Naeem Mosque and a multi-purpose hall at Muharraq.
Muharraq municipality will issue a building permit after completing the plan and drawings of the project. The Supreme Council expects to complete the project in two years. The tender for the project also closes on the fourth of next month.
