Bahrain has achieved another COVID-19 vaccine milestone seven months since launching its national campaign last year to inoculate its citizens and residents.
As of last night, 1,000,567 people completed two doses of one of the six vaccines made available for free to protect the population from the coronavirus (COVID-19).
That’s about 65.2% of the country’s population. A total of 1,074,175 also took at least one dose of the vaccine. At the current pace of vaccination, the whole eligible population in the Kingdom can be vaccinated by the end of this year or early next year.
