Colourful Philippine cultural heritage on display at Bahrain Financial Harbour

The Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain presents the Philippine Cultural Heritage Art Exhibit entitled “Iba’t Ibang Kulay at Hugis ng Kasaysayan” (History in Myriad Colours and Forms). The event, part of the 123rd Philippine Independence Day celebrations, is being held in cooperation with the Filipino Creatives Bahrain art group and the Filipino Writers Circle. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver and Chief Executive Officer of Harbour Gate, Alex Craine.
Indonesian Ambassador Nur Syahrir Rahardjo and Farida Hairani Hisham, Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam, also attended the opening night.
The art exhibit features a unique way of promoting Philippine cultural heritage through arts in different colours and forms accompanied by literary works crafted by Filipino artists and writers who have made Bahrain their second home.
In addition, the exhibit features art works created by budding young Filipino artists. The exhibit will run from 10 to 23 July 2021 at the Harbour Gate, Bahrain Financial Harbour.
