Bahrain authorities have reminded everyone to never put their guard down when it comes to the coronavirus (COVID-19). This comes as the Kingdom moves in the higher ‘Orange Alert Level’ during the Arafat and Eid Al Adha holidays starting today until Thursday, 22 July. The three-day “Green Alert Level”, which started on Friday, came to an end yesterday.
It witnessed the loosening of restrictions and permitted the hosting of private gatherings at homes and external conferences for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals.
But for the ‘Orange Alert Level’, it would mean imposing new enhanced restrictions in the interest of public health and safety while people are conducting social activities during Eid Al Adha.
The orange alert restricts indoor gatherings to six people – for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals – and only permits attendance to educational institutions. During the Eid holidays, vaccinated individuals, those who recovered from COVID-19, and children under the age of 12 accompanied by a vaccinated adult may be permitted to enter certain indoor and outdoor facilities in specific capacities. – Restaurants and cafes can offer outdoor services to 50 people, while indoor seating will be limited to 30 people.
