Russia to resume flights to Bahrain

Russia announced resuming flights with Bahrain starting the 9th of August, according to a new report. The decision is as suggested by the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus. As per the new decision, Russia will operate regular flights twice a week in the Moscow – Manama route.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova had recommended Russians take at least one component of the COVID-19 drug before travelling abroad.
Bahrain is now flashing a green signal based on average COVID-19 positivity rates, following a review on Friday. Orange Alert Level was in place during the Arafah and Eid Al-Adha holidays from 19th to 22nd July 2021.
When in green signal, those vaccinated and had completed 14 days after the second dose of a vaccine and those recovered from COVID-19 will receive entry to Cinemas, indoor events and conferences, and indoor sporting events. A vaccinated or recovered person must accompany children under the age of 12.
Shopping malls and shops, restaurants and cafes, Gyms and sporting halls, swimming pools, barbershops, salons, spas, playgrounds and entertainment centres, government centres, outdoor events and conferences, outdoor sporting events, training institutions will remain open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
All the necessary precautionary measures should be followed, including wearing a mask when indoors at public places and maintaining social distancing at all times.
Countries currently on Bahrain’s red list are Mozambique, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Namibia, Mexico, Tunisia, Iran, South Africa, Indonesia, Iraq, Philippines, Panama, Malaysia, Uganda and the Dominican Republic.
