Unite against Covid HRH Prince Salman tells world nations

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday urged nations around the globe to unite in the fight against the virus, citing the rising challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions.

“It is crucial to strengthening bilateral relations, including cooperation against COVID-19 pandemic, which requires strong coordination and solidarity with the international community,” said the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HRH Prince Salman was addressing a meeting on the sidelines of the Bahraini-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Committee with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Pakistan Foreign Minister.

Welcoming Qureshi, His Royal Highness stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral ties to benefit the people of both countries before exchanging the greetings of the President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, and HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed his appreciation for the support extended by His Royal Highness towards strengthened bilateral and COVID-19 cooperation.

Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, were also in attendance during the meeting.
