Bahrain, US mull developing strategic partnerships

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday stressed the importance of developing strategic partnerships during a meeting with a top US official.
HRH Prince Salman told Daniel Benaim, the US State Department’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Arabian Peninsula Affairs, that Bahrain is looking forward to enhancing its ties with the US to serve common interests.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister further hailed the strong ties and emphasised the importance of developing partnerships that benefit both countries. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy were present during the meeting held at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness welcomed Benaim’s visit to Bahrain and praised the efforts of the United States of America in enhancing regional security and stability. Their discussions also focused on all regional and international issues of common interest.
