Vow to follow health protocols on Ashoora

Jaffer Endowments Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al Saleh received a number of heads of community centres (ma’atams) in Manama as part of continued coordination for the Ashoora season.
Al Saleh valued the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to care for religious rituals, especially Ashoora season, despite COVID-19 challenges.
During the meeting, he commended the unremitting support provided by the state bodies, security, health and service establishments to mark the Ashoora rituals.
He praised the efforts led by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19, stressing the importance of compliance with the mandatory precautionary measures during the Ashoora rituals.
Al Saleh discussed with heads of community centres (ma’atams) precautionary measures during the Husseinya majlisses and processions, underlining coordinated efforts with official authorities.
Heads of community centres (ma’atams) expressed commitment to the health protocols set by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 for the Ashoora season.
They commended the role played by medical frontliners and all other competent authorities to protect the health, reiterating commitment to all mandatory precautionary measures.
