His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received cables of congratulations from Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal on the occasion of the International Day of Charity, annually observed worldwide every September 5.
The top legislators praised Bahrain’s humanitarian drive, led by HM the King, in support of people affected by natural disasters and crises They hailed Bahrain’s prolific charity and humanitarian contributions, highlighting its pioneering role in providing medical assistance and building educational and social projects in many countries.
