HRH Prince Salman welcomes official invitation to visit UAE

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed an invitation to visit the UAE, noting that it will further advance bilateral ties.

This came as HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister yesterday received the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness received greetings and a letter from His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

In response, HRH Prince Salman offered greetings to HH Shaikh Mohamed. The letter included an official invitation for His Royal Highness to visit the UAE. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of relations between the Bahrain and the UAE, which has furthered cooperation at all levels, benefitting both countries and their people.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that the strong bilateral partnership is attributed to the continuous support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

Ambassador Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity, and expressed appreciation for HRH’s continued support to further bilateral relations.

The meeting was also attended by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
