416,120 foreigners employed until second quarter of 2021 in Bahrain

A total of 416,120 foreigners are employed until the second quarter of 2021, a Social Insurance Authority report has revealed. From that total, 18,561 receive salaries exceeding BD1,000.
In the private sector, 381,267 are male and 34,853 are female workers. A total of 4,715 expatriates receive salaries between BD800 and BD999, of which 3,968 are male and 747 are female.
There are 8,049 foreign employees whose salaries range between BD600 and BD799, 6,817 of them male and 1,323 are female. A total of 18,304 employees in the private sector receive salaries of more than BD1,000, of which 13,993 are male and 4,311 are female.
The report also indicates that 5,646 Bahrainis are employed in the private sector whose salaries range between BD800 and BD999, of which 4,059 are male and 1,587 are female.
There are 9,637 Bahraini employees whose salaries are between BD600 and BD799, of which 6,606 are male and 3,031 are female.
