Bahrain dispatches second shipment of emergency humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has delivered the second shipment of emergency humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, a few days following the first supplies.
The humanitarian assistance was provided upon directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the continuous support of HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser hailed HM the King's humanitarian initiatives to supply relief to the afflicted all around the world and praised the support the RHF has from the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The RHF is honoured to implement the royal directives amid prayers for peace, prosperity and stability for Afghanistan and its people, he added.
RHF Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed confirmed that the shipment is a continuation of the Bahraini humanitarian efforts to provide aid to Afghanistan and that it includes much-needed medical, food and relief supplies.
He said that in accordance with the royal directives, the RHF continues to provide help to the Afghani people, which is expected as HM the King has always been keen to help those afflicted from all over the world.
The secretary-general said that the RHF had sent an urgent relief shipment and that two additional shipments would be dispatched soon.
The Afghan government representative lauded HM the King's initiative to support the Afghani people, praising the supplies sent by Bahrain that will meet the citizens' needs.
