Devji Aurum organize blood donation camp

The leading Bahraini jewellery design house, Devji Aurum, organized a Blood Donation Camp with the cooperation of King Hamad Hospital(KHUH).
The Camp was inaugurated by Mr Ahmed Al Haiki, Assistant Under Secretary, Ministry of Labor and social development. Present at the event were Dr Babu Ramachandran, General Physician, AMH Hospital, ICRFChairmanand Mr Hussain Al Hussaini, Head of Guidelines and awareness, Devji Group Directors and senior managers, who also participated as donors.
The event was conducted on 16thSeptemberat Devji Aurum FactoryHall–BIIP-Hidd. The total registered donors were 55, all employees of Devji Group–Bahrain.
The highly efficient hospital team comprising of 10staff members from the King Hamad Hospital managed the camp from 8:00 AM to 1.30 PM.
Dr Salman Bin AteyatallaAbdul RahmanAlKhalifa–Commander, Major-General of King Hamad Hospital(KHUH) expressed his gratitude to the Devji Group for organizing such an event as post covid, blood donors have reduced to 50% and such events are essential in current times.
Mr Ahmed Al Haiki, Assistant Under Secretary, Ministry of Labor and Social Development who inaugurated the camp expressed his warm gratitude to Devji Group’s directors for organizing such an inspirational event. Mr Ahmed extended his deep gratitude to the blood donors stated that “This is an act of kindness, and this precious gift will save lives”.
Mr Ahmed also recalled the friendship between Bahrain and India and the love and common values the people share. He also wished all a happy festive season.
Dr Babu Ramachandran, General Physician, AMH Hospital, ICRF Chairmanpresent at the event said, “A wonderful and positive event”.
He also expressed his gratitude and encouraged the Devji Group to continue organizing many more such events.
Mahesh Devji, Managing Director of Devji Aurum, welcomed the special guests and was extremely delighted at how the camp was organized maintaining all Covid protocols by the group’s employee welfare team–UTSAV.
He also appreciated the highly efficient team fromtheKing Hamad Hospital.
Mr Devji also extended special gratitude to the donors who had registered for this noble cause.
He stated that the camp was a mark of a series of events that are planned to celebrate humanity between communities during this Ganesh Chaturthi ten days festive season. He also took this occasion to thank the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people for their continued love and support extended to the Devji Group since 1950
