BCCI reviews current state of economy, support for private sector

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) discussed the current state of the economy and the leadership’s reaffirmation of its support to the private sector and its role in driving economic growth and development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Spearheaded by BCCI Chairman Sameer Nass, its Consultative Council convened a meeting yesterday in the presence of members and heads of sector committees.
Nass expressed pride in the confidence bestowed upon the chamber by the wise leadership and hailed His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on his transparency and open-door approach.
Development plans He shared the outcomes of the meetings held with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in February and this month, during which the government’s development plans were discussed and the role of the BCCI in shaping economic decisions was reinstated.
The BCCI head also spoke about the partnership between the government and the private sectors and their united efforts for the welfare of the country and its people.
