Putting the focus on India Bahrain diplomatic ties

Bahrain National Museum will today host a lecture on “Diplomatic Relations between India and Bahrain” by Professor Yousef Salah Al-Din.
The lecture at 7:00 pm will shed light on the bilateral ties, diplomatic and commercial perspective during the past five years.
The talk is part of the events organised by the Bahrain Authority of Culture and Antiquities with the Indian Embassy in Bahrain to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of diplomatic ties between India and Bahrain.
Celebrations continue until the 19th of this month with various workshops, artistic performances and Little India Square.
Yesterday’s events included a Hand Block Printing Workshop at Art Centre.
Block printing on textiles is a tradition that spans over 800 years in India.
The workshop allowed participants to experience this technique by creating table runners, cushions, covers, tote bags or yoga bags using different patterns. Founder of Kala Design, Kavita Sharma, led the workshop.
Shabab Al Riffa Band
Yet another highlight of yesterday’s activities was the performance of the Shabab Al Riffa Band.
The bank performed Bahraini folkloric voice arts at Bab al Bahrain as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava also addressed diplomats on the historic relations and strong bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors between India & Bahrain as a part of celebrations of diplomatic relations between both the countries Attendance to internal events is limited to those having the green shield on their BeAware app.
