Bahrain-Jordan talks on fight against poverty in Arab world

A meeting was held to review the most prominent challenges facing the Arab world in the fight against poverty and the development of services provided to vulnerable groups in society including the elderly, people with disabilities and low-income families.
This was between Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan and Jordanian Prime Minister Dr Bisher Al Khasawneh.
They discussed the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (CAMSA)’s role in strengthening the joint Arab action system through the Arab League, and its efforts in studying and researching all the difficulties and challenges faced by the Arab countries and ways to avoid them.
The meeting also dealt with the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Arab countries to confront the pandemic
