Three men are facing trial for selling unlicensed valuables, the Public Prosecution announced in a statement. The defendants will appear before the Lower Criminal Court tomorrow.
They are said to have been selling unstamped jewellery. Those with more than unapproved golden and silver pieces have been seized as they didn’t have the official stamp in them.
The suspects were questioned by the Public Prosecution after a tip-off about their activities received by police officers. As a result, they were accused of violating the jewellery trading local laws and rules by selling valuables that are not compliant with the rules.
